Context

The Causeway Coast runs along Northern Ireland's north coast, where basalt geology, cliffs and sea routes meet towns with distinct local histories. It is within the United Kingdom and should be read alongside, not conflated with, the Republic's western coast.

What to notice

Look at the coast as geology and lived place: shore paths, settlements and working harbours add context to the famous rock formations.
